A Day of National Gratitude for the People and Armed Forces of Pakistan

 

In the wake of Pakistan’s resolute and successful defense during recent hostilities, the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will observe Youm-e-Tashakkur (Day of Thanks) on Friday, 16th May 2025.

 

This day stands as a tribute not only to the valiant Armed Forces who safeguarded our national sovereignty, but equally to the people of Pakistan—whose unity, calm, and patriotic spirit reflected the true strength of the nation.

 

All provincial departments, district administrations, educational institutions, and affiliated bodies are directed to make the following arrangements in a dignified and respectful manner:
