Swabi, December 24, 2024 – In a significant move to ensure the timely completion of infrastructure projects, the Managing Director of the Pakhtunkhwa Highways Authority (PKHA), along with Director-I and field civil staff, conducted a site visit to the Swabi-Jehangira Road project on Tuesday.

During the visit, the team reviewed the progress of ongoing construction work and held detailed discussions regarding critical aspects of the project. Special emphasis was placed on completing essential structures such as retaining walls on a priority basis.

The MD PKHA expressed concern over the current pace of work and directed the contractor to expedite efforts to meet the project's deadlines. “The retaining walls and other key structures must be completed without delay, and the remaining work should be finalized at the earliest,” the MD emphasized.

The visit reflects PKHA's commitment to enhancing regional connectivity through efficient road infrastructure. The Swabi-Jehangira Road project is expected to improve transportation links and facilitate economic growth in the area.

The contractor assured the PKHA officials of increased manpower and resources to accelerate progress and ensure timely completion of the project.
