Buner, 12-09-2024 — In a significant development for infrastructure in the region, Secretary of Communication & Works (C&W) KP and Managing Director (MD) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Highways Authority (PKHA) conducted a site visit to the Buner Karakar Tunnel project today. This visit marks a milestone for the project, which is the first-ever tunnel of its kind to be executed by PKHA in the province.

 

During the visit, MD PKHA provided a comprehensive briefing on the project's key features. The Buner Karakar Tunnel, with a span of 3.5 kilometers, represents a pioneering effort in regional infrastructure, setting a new benchmark for future projects. The tunnel's construction aims to enhance connectivity and stimulate economic development in the area.

 

The visit also saw the field execution staff, contractors, and consultants come together to welcome the honored guests.
